Cultivator
I am the harvester!
I've been underrated!
I am the bladed plow!
I've been agitated!
I am the strong tiller,
working the hardened ground.
When you're being stony,
I shovel you around!
I press in my sharp tines,
like long, pointed fingers.
I break up the surface,
exposing what lingers.
I am the truth-teller!
I'm what you truly need.
Growing healthy fruit takes,
accountability!

The Hard Climb
I'm trying to climb a mountain!
Rocks are rolling underfoot.
Strong winds are pushing against me,
loudly roaring, "You stay put!"
Standing boldly, on the sidelines,
mockers laugh at my attempt.
Surely, they're not comprehending.
I'm forgiving their contempt.
I'm determined, hiking forward.
My legs, shaking from the pain.
Though, I'm feeling a bit lonely,
I'm not doing this in vain.
There's a purpose set before me,
following God's righteous plan.
I'm enduring all these hardships,
knowing, I don't understand!
Though betrayers come against me,
in wool coats, covered like snow,
I'm believing in the promise,
God had given long ago!
